Ms. Jacobsma is a prominent workers’ compensation and personal injury attorney in Southern California who has been practicing law for over 28 years, devoting her practice to advocating for those injured in accidents. She began her career as an attorney with the Law Offices of Charles R. Weldon in 1993. Ms. Jacobsma takes pride that her reputation is earned by providing high quality, compassionate and aggressive legal representation. This reputation garners her the numerous referrals from past clients, attorneys and judges, and is the foundation of the success of her firm. She is the past President of the Southeast District Bar Association and has served on the Board of Trustees for over a decade. Ms. Jacobsma also served as a mediator, arbitrator and early neutral evaluator for the Los Angeles Superior Court’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Panel. She has been a member of the Cerritos College Paralegal Advisory Committee for over 15 years along with being a member of California Applicants’ Attorneys Association. She is a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, Whittier Bar Association and Consumer Attorneys of California.
In addition to her busy practice, Ms. Jacobsma gives a substantial amount of her time to the community as a sustaining member of National Charity League, Inc., Whittier Chapter, serving philanthropies in the Whittier and La Habra area and many other organizations. She sits as a member of the Board of the Whittier Public Library Foundation, Girl Scout Leader and has served as a mentor for CAALA, and several other organizations.

Jonathan R. TerKeurst was born and raised in Orange County, California.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University of Long Beach. Afterwards, he attended Western State University College of Law where he earned his J.D. with Honors. During his time at Western State College of Law school Mr. TerKeurst clerked for the Jacobsma & Brau firm and thereafter joined the firm as an attorney after being admitted
to the State bar of California.
Mr. TerKeurst is a member of Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles as well as the California Applicant Attorney Association. His practice is devoted primarily to personal injury and worker's compensation cases. Outside of work, Mr. TerKeurst enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with his wife and young son. He also enjoys volunteering at his church and their related community outreach programs.

Jerry D. Turner is a native of Tennessee, lived in Michigan for 8 years, and has resided in California since 1959.
He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles in 1971 and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1972.
Initially, he volunteered at Legal Aid, focusing on family law. Later, he entered into general practice at a small firm, followed by insurance defense practice with a large firm. In 1973, he joined the law offices of Charles R. Weldon where his primary focus was civil litigation, personal injury and medical malpractice. There, he continued until the unfortunate passing of Mr. Weldon in 2007. He received training in the Alternative Dispute Resolution Program of the Los Angeles Superior Court and served for over a year on their panel of mediators. Additionally, as an experienced personal injury litigator, he is of counsel to Jacobsma Law, APC, former colleagues in the Weldon firm.
Mr. Turner is a member of the Southeast District Bar Association, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles.
He has extensive background in the automobile and motorcycle industry, including manufacturing, mechanics, sales and marketing. Personally, Mr. Turner reads extensively and has an avid appreciation of music and theater. He follows major sports, has been active in church administration, and has traveled widely.
